Welcome to my Substack! My name is Kyle Strobel, and I am a professor of spiritual theology at Talbot School of Theology, Biola University. I am a writer, preacher, and teacher, and this page and podcast aim at articulating an evangelical vision of spiritual formation, the life of faith, and the life of the church.

Read my intro post here.

Why subscribe?

Subscribe to get full access to my most recent newsletters. I won’t overwhelm you with posts! Right now I am aiming at 4 posts per month, so typically you will receive a post from me every Monday.

If you subscribe you are not automatically connected with my podcast (I didn’t want to overwhelm your email!). You can find the podcast here or from the homepage, as well as with the 10 Minute Edwards podcast.

Should I do free or paid subscription?

Right now I am offering most things for free on this substack. While the bulk of my posts are for free, I do have an aspect of most posts that are for paid subscribers only, like: 1. Video content, 2. ability to comment and engage me in conversation about the topics I write about, and 3. mini-courses on the section of my substack called Office Hours, plus access to the full-archive of my posts.

I really appreciate those who have asked how they can support my work, and that so I explain that below.

How can you support Kyle’s work?

Kyle is a part of a non-profit organization where you can donate to his writing and speaking ministry. THIS IS A HUGE HELP!!! This is also the best way to continue to support Kyle and free him up to do more of this work. You can give here.
